Blended to exacting standards, and then aged in Traditional American Oak this 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet blend captures the rare melding of the Merlot’s mellow currant and plum highlights with a light caress of Cabernet Sauvignon. Just as the beauty of the maiden Ariadne captured the heart of Dionysus, so will the union of the delicate flavors of these two jewels of
the vineyard capture your heart. Ariadne pairs beautifully with braised beef, grilled pork, grilled vegetables, and any chocolate dessert.

This wine holds the 2010 Gold Award from the Dallas Morning News International competition.
